Peter Slaugh is the General Partner and Managing Member of Su Casa Properties, and has been active in the real estate business for over seventeen years. Previously, Mr. Slaugh was a founder and principal of Steelhead Capital, Inc. – a San Francisco-based commercial mortgage banking platform.

Prior to founding Steelhead Capital, Mr. Slaugh originated commercial loan transactions for all property types at GMAC Commercial Mortgage.

Mr. Slaugh is also the Founder and CEO of Lighthouse Financial Partners, Inc. (“LFP”), a leading financial services firm which specializes in structuring nationwide commercial real estate transactions requiring both debt and equity placement. LFP is a primary source of quality commercial real estate lending opportunities for several national lenders, including regional banks and GSE’s (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD) such as Morgan Stanley, UBS, CapMark (GMAC CM), GE Capital, Wachovia, JP Morgan/Chase, Deutsche Bank, AEGON, Met Life, Prudential Mortgage, and Key Bank.

Mr. Slaugh has invested either as a Limited Partner or a Managing Member in a series of multi-family projects incorporating “value-added” renovations to reposition the assets and stabilize cash flow. These transactions span the last ten years with asset value exceeding $60 million.

Over the last decade, Mr. Slaugh has originated well in excess of $1 billion in commercial real estate debt/mezz debt & equity transactions. His extensive knowledge of the capital markets significantly enhances the firm’s ability to aggressively leverage acquisition and renovation costs in order to maximize investor returns.
